Andrew Von Lossow of Spokane has a good thing going. In a 13-month span of time, he drained five holes-in-one. Yes, five. Enough for a lifetime, but we’re thinking he may not be through just yet.
His incredible stretch includes an ace on these holes (see below for photos from each ace):
The only other hole-in-one Von Lossow has had was in 2017 at a par-3 course, but this recent barrage of aces was no fluke. He has recently been coming into his own as a player. In April 2021, he won the Washington Champion of Champions, besting a field of club champions from throughout the state. In May 2021 he shot a 5-under 66 at Wine Valley GC in U.S. Open Local qualifying, to advance to the national championship’s Final qualifying. Then in September 2021 he put on his plus-fours and won the U.S. Hickory Open held at Gearhart (Ore.) Golf Links.
Yes, a pretty good thing going.
