Inactive Score Posting Period Starts Now

Just a quick reminder that the WSGA observes an Inactive Score Posting Period which runs from November 15 to the last day of February. During that period, scores from rounds played within the boundaries of the WSGA are not acceptable for handicap purposes. However, scores from rounds played in an area which is still accepting scores (such as California, Arizona, Nevada) and even those played within the boundaries of the WSGA prior to November 15 (that you have not yet posted) should be posted as soon as practicable.

While the preferred method of score posting is to post at the club where you played the round, posting via the internet or by using the WSGA Mobile App are also available to you.

The USGA Handicap Indexes of all active WSGA Members are updated on the 1st and 15th of every month of the year, including during the Inactive Score Posting Period. WSGA Member clubs have been asked to not inactivate any member who has not paid their WSGA Membership Dues for the upcoming year any earlier than December 31. If your club does inactivate you and you plan on playing an event early in 2017, please make sure that you renew your membership prior to the handicap update immediately before the event.

If you have any questions regarding your membership with the WSGA or score posting during our Inactive Score Posting Period, please contact us at 1-800-643-6410.

Thank you for your support of the Washington State Golf Association and amateur golf. Have a great holiday season!
