Meet the team: Alex Gilley

We are excited to welcome Alex Gilley to the team here at Washington Golf. Alex joins us for the season as a USGA P.J. Boatwright Jr. Intern.

Alex Gilley

Alex grew up on the west side of Portland and recently graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Political Science. Alex has a passion for golf and has been involved in the industry since he was young, working at his local golf club throughout high school. He loves sports and enjoys playing, watching, and helping administer them.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys playing golf and basketball, watching sports, and spending time with friends and family. He also enjoys cooking and BBQ-ing with his dad.

We’re thrilled to have Alex on our team and look forward to his contributions.

The USGA P.J. Boatwright Jr. Internship Program is designed to give experience to individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in golf administration, while assisting state and regional golf associations in the promotion of amateur golf, on a short-term, entry level basis. An intern may help conduct tournaments, junior golf programs, membership services, and other general activities that promote the best interests of the game.
