Leilani Norman of Eugene, Ore. shot the low round of the day to earn medalist honors at the qualifier held at Fairwood Golf & Country Club in Renton, Wash. for the 2014 U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur Championship, which will be held at Hollywood Golf Club in Deal, N.J. on Sept. 13-18. This is the fourth USGA championship that Norman has qualified for.

Earning this qualifier’s second available spot into the championship proper is Denise Kieffer of University Place, Wash. Kieffer has earlier won the 2009 WSGA Women’s Champion of Champions, and is a past club champion at Fircrest (Wash.) Golf Club (2009).
