The 25th Washington Women’s Four-Ball Championship is set for May 5-6, hosted by Kitsap Golf & Country Club in Bremerton, Wash.
The event brings together some of the best women amateur golfers in Washington, playing over 36 holes of Four-Ball (Best Ball) stroke play. The field consists of 120 players paired into 60 teams.
Championship Links
The championship figures to be competitive. Last year’s winning duo of Kim Titus and Kelly Gardner of Gig Harbor are in search of their seventh overall title in the Four-Ball, and fourth in the past five years. Leslie Folsom and Jane Harris of Tukwila will also be worth monitoring, as they have won the championship nine times, including its inaugural running in 2000. Folsom is also just one week removed from capturing her third straight Senior Women’s title at the Washington Champion of Champions.
The Arlington mother-daughter tandem of Shelley and Grace Metcalf, who successfully navigated eight playoff holes en route to victory in the 2023 Women’s Four-Ball, will tee it up again this week, too.
Seattle’s Mimi Racicot, who won the 2003 championship alongside Jani Japar, is also in this year’s field, partnered this time with Michelle Hood. It’s Racicot’s first appearance since 2014, when she and Japar finished in a tie for sixth.
This year marks the first Women’s Four-Ball hosted by Kitsap. The 2026 championship will be held at Sudden Valley Golf Club in Bellingham.
