Awards in the following categories will be presented at our Annual Meeting on October 28, 2023 at Mill Creek Country Club. Please use the form to craft nominations for WA Golf Member Club of the Year, Handicap Chairperson of the Year, and Club Representative of the Year. Nominations will be accepted until September 25, 2023.

We review all nomination submissions and suggest that you include additional details and supporting information about your nominations. This will help us understand why your club and volunteers deserve these awards. The quality of the submission is more important than the quantity.

  • WA Golf Club of the Year

    The Washington Golf Club of the Year Award was instituted in 2019. This accolade acknowledges a Washington Golf Member Club for exceptional contributions to its members, community, and the association. Please take note: This award is intended for a WA Golf Member Club – not a golf course or facility. For instance, the Port Gardner Senior Men’s Club won the award in 2022.   • Please provide us with a detailed description outlining why you believe this club should be considered for WA Golf Club of the year. What are some valuable benefits that the club provides its members? Does the club participate in any charitable activity? Has the club improved the experience for members in a unique way recently? The more information you can provide us about the club, the better.
  • This award recognizes a club's Handicap Chairperson for extraordinary efforts in managing their club's handicapping and organization process. Please include details about what makes your Handicap Chairperson's role valuable and beneficial to your club.
  • This award recognizes a Club Representative for exemplary efforts within their club, in the golf community or with the Association. Please include details about what makes your Club Representative’s role valuable and beneficial to your club.
