How to Play

  1. Select your team of 12 golfers. Players are segmented into four groups based on their Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR).
  2. Pick one alternate in each group. Alternates are only used if a starter within their group withdraws before the Cut.
  3. Save your team by clicking the “Save Lineup” button.
  4. Keep track of the action throughout the tournament on the live leaderboard. Team scores are made up of the sum of 10 of the best 12 scores of the players that were selected.

Scoring and Tiebreakers

  • All scoring is calculated directly on the Majors Challenge platform.
  • A team’s position on the leaderboard is based on the sum of its golfer scores. During each tournament, the leaderboard updates in real-time with the PGA and LPGA.
  • Teams will receive the worst four-round score on the week’s leaderboard for every golfer on their team that is cut, disqualified, or withdraws after the cut.

Tiebreakers:

  • If two teams have the same score, it goes to a tiebreaker. Ties are first broken by looking at the cut count, where the roster with the fewest number of cuts wins. Any golfer that does not finish the 4th round of an event is counted toward your cut counts.
  • If two teams have the same score and the same cut count, the team containing the lowest score for a single golfer breaks the tie. If two teams have the same golfer with the same low score, then each team’s second best golfer will determine the tie breaker. This continues until the tie has been broken.
