We are excited to welcome Logan Groeneveld-Meijer to the team here at Washington Golf. Logan joins us for the season as a USGA P.J. Boatwright Intern.

Logan grew up in Mont Vernon, New Hampshire, after originally being from Issaquah. A 2024 graduate of Penn State with a degree in journalism, he gained experience through internships with the AJGA, Penn State Athletics, Blue Band, and more. Passionate about the impact golf has on people’s lives, Logan is excited to return to the West Coast and apply his experiences to serve the game and its community through WA Golf. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, spending time with friends, and working on his golf game at the driving range. At home, Logan has three brothers—including an identical twin—and a cat named Jasper.
We’re thrilled to have Logan on our team and look forward to his contributions!
The USGA P.J. Boatwright Intern program is designed to give experience to individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in golf administration, while assisting state and regional golf associations in the promotion of amateur golf, on a short-term, entry level basis. An intern may help conduct tournaments, junior golf programs, membership services, and other general activities that promote the best interests of the game.
