BOURBON, MO. – Imperial Headwear, the No. 1 headwear brand for private and resort golf facilities as reported by the Association of Golf Merchandisers (AGM) in their member survey the last three consecutive years, announced a new partnership and e-commerce fundraising collaboration with the Washington State Golf Association (WSGA).
Imperial will become the “Official Headwear of The Washington State Golf Association” under the new agreement, and provide headwear for contestants in the WSGA’s top competitive events in 2018.
Additionally, Imperial will develop an online collection of customizable WSGA logoed hats and apparel as part of a special WSGA Collection on Imperial’s website. Anyone will be able to visit the online store and choose from a variety of styles and colors, place their order almost instantly from any device, and receive free shipping on their order. For each WSGA cap/tee sold through the collection, $10 will help benefit the WSGA’s various golf initiatives around the state of Washington.
“The WSGA is excited to announce this partnership with Imperial Headwear,” said Scotty Crouthamel, senior director of rules and competition for the Washington State Golf Association. “Imperial is a classic golf brand, make great products and proactively supports projects that help grow the game.”
Imperial will also be offering limited edition WSGA headwear on their website – ImperialSports.com – and a portion of the proceeds will be directed back to the WSGA, which supports a variety of Washington-based golf initiatives, including junior golf, player development, scholarships and turfgrass research.
“I am very excited to work with the WSGA to raise money for such a great association,” said David Shaffer, vice president of sales and marketing at Imperial Headwear. “The WSGA is doing wonderful things for the game of golf in the state of Washington and Imperial is proud to support them in their mission.”
The Limited Edition collection of hats offered online will include a variety of headwear styles in multiple colors and a t-shirt with the core WSGA logo displayed. From each cap/tee sold online, $10 will go directly back to the WSGA, and free ground shipping is available on all products.
