Sudden Valley Golf Course will host the 26th Washington Women’s Four-Ball Championship on May 4-5, marking the event’s first appearance there. Sudden Valley has historically been a favored venue for WA Golf championships, having hosted the Washington Men’s Amateur on five occasions (most recently in 2001) as well as the Women’s Amateur in 2019.

Washington Golf has announced that the 2026 Washington Women’s Amateur and Mid-Amateur Championships will be held at Walla Walla Country Club. The two elite state championships will run concurrently from June 16-18.

Denise Kieffer of University Place, Wash. and Gretchen Klein of Hoquiam, Wash. both shot 4-over par rounds of 76 to tie for the 26th Washington Senior Women’s Amateur lead, while Lorianne Johns of Tacoma shot a 7-over par 79 to lead the 12th Washington Super Senior Women’s Amateur.

The 26th Washington Senior Women’s Amateur and 12th Washington Super Senior Women’s Amateur will be held this week, August 19-20, at Alderbrook Golf & Yacht Club in Union, Wash, marking the first time Alderbrook has hosted the Senior Women’s Amateur since the inaugural 2000 championship, and the first time the club has ever hosted the Super Senior Women’s championship.
