The inaugural season of the WA Golf Ladies Links League wrapped up on Friday, October 4, with a Final Day Best-Ball outing at The Home Course in DuPont.
This new event for 2024 was designed to be fun and flexible, offering players a low-pressure way to experience various tournament formats throughout the season, which ran from April to September. Each month featured a different two-person team format, and teams had the freedom to play at any course of their choice.
Points were awarded based on net scores for each challenge played. The top teams from the season-long points list, and four randomly selected teams, earned an invitation to the Final Day, where they competed in a Best-Ball tournament with prizes, a raffle, food, and lots of fun.
The winners of the Final Day at The Home Course were Christina Campbell and Keri Kunka, with Lisa Arseneault and Shirin Makalai finishing as runners-up.
Overall, 140 individual teams participated throughout the 2024 season, with 96 of those teams taking part in three or more events. View the full season-long points list here.
