Kiselya Salcedo

Get to know a little bit about Kiselya:

Give some background on yourself:

I grew up in the small, but wonderful, town of Cortez, Colorado. I moved to Ogden, Utah after high school to attend Weber State University where I played on the women’s golf team. I loved my time on the golf team there and at the university. I also met my husband in Ogden and we were married in 2021. We have an adorable dog named Monti and we are thrilled to be living in Washington!

What’s your favorite thing about golf and how did you become interested in the golf industry?

Golf has been a huge part of my life since I was young. My favorite thing about golf is how it brings people together. Not only has it been a huge part of my family’s life, but the friends I have made through the sport are very dear to me. I also love the competition and challenge it presents. I have been playing competitive golf since I was seven years old. I have played at the national and collegiate level and have been working in the golf industry since 2016. I worked for the Utah Section PGA for five years, helping run their junior golf program. That is where my passion for helping the game grow and flourish began, and I look forward to continuing that here.

Who would be the three other players in your dream foursome?

My dream foursome would probably be Arnold Palmer, Seve Ballesteros and my dad.
