Meet the team: Nicole Bivins

The WSGA would like to welcome Nicole Bivins aboard as the new office administrator for the Association.

Get to know a little bit about Nicole:

As the office administrator, I’m responsible for managing the day-to-day logistics of the Association’s office. I’ll be your first point of contact when you call or come in to visit, as well as the one coordinating events, serving as a liaison to the board of directors, and providing support to the Association’s various departments. I have an extensive background in office management, having spent time working in the front offices of several organizations across multiple industries. I also maintain an active creative practice in video editing, writing, and design. I grew up in San Diego and have had a close relationship with golf since childhood. I’ve made my home in Tacoma with my husband Nicholas, who teaches art and coaches boys’ golf at Charles Wright Academy.

How did you first find out about the Association?

I first found out about the Association when my husband played in a Casual Golf Days event and came home with exciting stories of the wonderful people who were involved. Later, when I discovered that the Association was in need of an office professional, I knew it was the role I was meant to fill!

What is your favorite part about living in the Pacific Northwest? And what’s your favorite outdoor activity?

My favorite part of living in the Pacific Northwest is its proximity to all of my favorite things: art, theatre, culture, sports, nature, and community. My favorite outdoor activity is hiking the many extensive and beautiful trails in the area with my husband and our goldendoodle Darla.
