Kallenberger has been with The First Tee chapter since its inception in 2011, and served as a volunteer employee for the first six months. Since then, he has led the chapter as program director, helping it grow from 97 youths in 2011 to over 1,800 in 2017. Kallenberger has also been an integral part of the chapter developing and maintaining partnerships with local youth-serving organizations such as Boys & Girls Club of South Puget Sound, Rescue Mission, CYS at JBLM and more, providing The First Tee programming at no charge. The First Tee has been able to bring its Nine Core Values and Nine Healthy Habits programming into 67 schools in the Puget Sound area where they are able to impact over 30,000 youth a year.

“We are extremely pleased to appoint Ryan to this position in the organization,” said Don Brown, Board president. “His knowledge of The First Tee and his connections in the community make this an exciting transition for the organization. His commitment and passion for the mission of The First Tee are infectious and we are looking forward to this next chapter for the organization.”
