It was quite a summer for Kennedy Knox.
She won the 28th Washington Women’s Amateur in June, and followed it up a week later by winning the 2021 Seattle Women’s Golf Association City Championship. Then in early August she completed the trifecta by winning the Washington Junior Golf Association Girls’ State Championship.
This is the first time in state history that someone has won all three titles in the same year.
Kennedy, who plays out of Rainier Golf and Country Club, also qualified to play in the 2021 U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship, and this fall she will be competing as a freshman on the University of Washington women’s golf team.
Well played, Kennedy.
