WSGA Loses Great Volunteer - Don Farr passes

Longtime WSGA Club Representative Don Farr passed away on March 25 at the age of 78 of pancreatic cancer. For over 20 years Farr had been the handicap chairman at Sun Dance GC just south of Spokane, and also served on the WSGA Course Rating Committee for over 15 years.

Farr

A pharmacist who retired in 1998, Don had taught his wife, Annetta, to play golf, and together they traveled and played many courses. When not golfing, he and his wife enjoyed attending musicals and the symphony.

Don loved spending time with his family at their cabin at Diamond Lake, fishing, skiing and snowmobiling. A do-it-yourselfer, he could fix almost anything – a true handyman. He loved woodworking, and created many beautiful pieces of furniture.
