The Annual Golf Summit of Washington is set for Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Everett Golf and Country Club in Everett, Wash. The summit is conducted by the Golf Alliance of Washington, which consists of the Washington State Golf Association, United States Golf Association, Pacific Northwest Section PGA, Western Washington Golf Course Superintendents Association, and the Evergreen Chapter of the Club Managers Association of America.
Some of the highlighted speakers that day include Henry DeLozier from Global Golf Advisors, Danny Sink, 2015 U.S. Open Championship Director, Larry Gilhuly from the USGA Green Section, Monte Koch, PGA Player Development Regional Manager, and Jeff Gullikson, from the First Green Foundation.
Registration is $75 for the meeting that includes a light continental breakfast and lunch. Of that $75, $25 will go toward a fund to finance the next economic impact study for the state of Washington.
