The regional qualifier for the Veteran Golfers Association (VGA) National Championship will be held at American Lake Veterans GC in Lakewood, Wash. on September 19. This qualifier is for all veterans - male and female, currently on active duty, retired, disabled or discharged.
This is the final regional qualifier for this championship, which is the country's first ever national golf championship for veterans.
From the regional qualifiers, 80 veterans - 40 wounded and 40 non-wounded - will receive all-expense paid trips to Pinehurst, N.C. to compete in the VGA National Championship, to be held on Pinehurst No. 2 on Nov 8-11, 2015, coinciding with Veterans Day.
