Kenmore, Wash. – Reid Hatley of Hayden Lake, Idaho, and Jacob Koppenberg of Bellingham went wire-to-wire, shooting rounds of 63-68, to win the 66th Washington Men’s Four-Ball. Tom Hale and Craig Larson, both of Lakewood, won the 29th Senior Men’s Four-Ball after rounds of 67-71.
The 36-hole championships were held concurrently on May 25-26 at Inglewood Golf Club in Kenmore, Wash.

This is the first Men’s Four-Ball title for the duo of Hatley and Koppenberg. Hatley is a six-time WA Golf Men’s Mid-Amateur player of the Year, and Koppenberg has won two individual WA Golf championships.
Dean Barnett of Seattle and Mike Wehrman of Kenmore won the Men’s Net title.
In the Senior Men’s championship, Tom Hale and Craig Larson also won their first title as a team. Hale won the 2014 Washington Men’s Mid-Amateur, and Hale combined with partner Chris Bae to win the 2013 Washington Men’s Four-Ball.
Dan Thacker of Edmonds and Tracy Quickstad of Kirkland won the Senior Men’s Net title.
The Washington Men’s Four-Ball Championship was previously known as the Inglewood Best-Ball from 1956 until 1993 when, in 1994, WA Golf began to administer the event and introduced the Senior Men’s Four-Ball.
The Men’s and Senior Men’s Four-Ball are two of the 14 championships conducted annually by WA Golf.
