DuPont, Wash. – The first round of the 12th Annual Washington Champion of Champions begins Thursday, April 29 at The Home Course in DuPont, Wash.
The championship will be contested over 36 holes of stroke play on April 29-30. This year’s field consists of 156 champions from around the state of Washington and Northern Idaho, competing in four divisions – Men, Senior Men, Women and Senior Women. This is the largest field in the history of the championship.

Tee times begin tomorrow (Thursday) at 7:30 a.m. on the No. 1 and No. 10 tees.
Defending champion Bjorn Bjorke headlines a strong field in the Men’s division. Bjorke, who also won last year’s Washington Men’s Mid-Amateur, is a two-time winner of the Champion of Champions, having won the inaugural event in 2009. Other past champions in the field include Jacob Koppenberg (2016) and Jon McCaslin (2018).
Past champions in the field for the Senior Men’s division include defending champion and three-time winner Keith Crimp (2013, 2014, 2020), Tom Brandes (2012, 2016, 2017, 2018); and Pete Higgins (2015).
In the Women’s division, two-time defending champion Victoria Fallgren is back again this year, trying for her third consecutive title. Also in the field is two-time champion Sarah Lawrence (2016, 2018).
Past champions in the field for the Senior Women’s division include defending champion Leslie Folsom, who also won this title in 2018. Folsom also is a two-time winner of the Women’s division (2014, 2015). Past champion Gretchen Klein (2017) is also in the field, as is Karen Madison (2015).
To be eligible to compete in the Champion of Champions, a player must meet at least one of the following criteria:

- Champion of any event on the WA Golf Senior Men’s Performance Points List (2020)
- Top-10 on the WA Golf Men’s Performance Points List (2020)
- Top-10 on the WA Golf Men’s Mid-Amateur Performance Points List (2020)
- Top-5 on the WA Golf Senior Men’s Performance Points List (2020)
- Top-5 on the WJGA Boys’ Performance Points List (2020)

Age: No age requirements for Men’s Championship. Players in the Senior Men’s Championship must have reached their fifty-fifth birthday by April 29, 2021.
