2017 WSGA Men’s Player of the Year Derek Bayley of Rathdrum, Idaho has qualified for the upcoming PGA TOUR Latinoamérica season.
In the PTLA Qualifying Tournament in Mexico, Bayley fired rounds of 70–71–64–68 to finish T7 earning full membership for the first half of the 2019 PGA TOUR Latinoamérica season.
Bayley was named the 2017 WSGA Men’s Player of the Year, after finishing second in the Washington State Men’s Amateur and runner-up in the PNGA Men’s Amateur. In 2018 Bayley qualified for the U.S. Amateur and won the Rosauers Open Invitational (for the second time, having also won in 2016), competing against the region’s top PGA professionals. He is a graduate of Washington State University, where he played all four years on the men’s golf team.
Also qualifying for the 2019 PGA TOUR Latinoamérica season is Brian Mogg of Issaquah, Wash. who earned conditionally exempt status for the first half of the season.
