Max Herendeen of Bellevue won the 2022 Junior PGA Championship, held last week at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club in Palos Park, Ill.
This caps off an already great year for Max. Here are a few of his other highlights:
- Won the 2022 WIAA 3A Boys’ State Championship
- Qualified for Final Qualifying for the 2022 U.S. Open
- Qualified for the 2022 U.S. Junior Amateur
- Finished second in 2022 Washington Men’s Amateur, one shot back of Jace Minni
- Selected to the WA Golf Morse Cup Team, in the 2022 Pacific Coast Amateur Championship
- Made it to quarterfinals of the 2021 PNGA Junior Boys’ Amateur
- Qualified for 2021 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball.
- Rising senior at Seattle’s Blanchet High School
