Titus and Gardner go wire-to-wire in winning 24th Washington Women’s Four-Ball

Burlington, Wash. – The duo of Kim Titus of Fox Island and Kelly Gardner of Gig Harbor won the 24th Washington Women’s Four-Ball Championship. The 36-hole championship was hosted this week May 6-7, 2024 at Skagit Golf & Country Club in Burlington, Wash.

This victory marks the sixth Women’s Four-Ball championship for Titus and Gardner, who previously won in 2014, 2017, 2019, 2021, and 2022. They now hold six titles, just two shy of Leslie Folsom and Jane Harris’s record of eight. This year, Folsom and Harris finished in third place.

Runners-up Tina Papatolis of Issaquah and Carrie Jacobson of Kirkland finished just one shot behind, while defending champions Grace and Shelley Metcalf came in fourth.

Mison Kang of Bellevue and Yoomee Yun of Tacoma won the Overall Net title.

This year’s championship featured a full field of 60 teams (120 players), competing in 36-hole four-ball stroke play (Gross and Net) across three flights.

The Women’s Four-Ball is one of 14 championships held annually by WA Golf.
