The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) and Northwest Junior Golf Tour (NJrGT) have joined forces to provide junior golfers incredible playing opportunities and a chance to compete at some of the best golf venues in the area.
Mario Conte and Jeff Mehlert, the respective executive directors of these organizations, plan to work together and continue to provide high quality junior golf tournaments. The HJGT conducts more than 240 two-day events in 32 states across the country, while Mehlert's NJrGT has been running strong regional one and two-day events for the past 17 years.
The events in 2016 will still have a local feel with Jeff at the helm but will now give the juniors national exposure through the HJGT. Juniors will have a chance to compete on premier golf courses at a reasonable price and all interested juniors are eligible to participate.
