After over six months of competition, the 2024 WA Golf Men’s Net Four-Ball Match Play tournament concluded this past weekend, October 11-13, with the Final Weekend held at Gamble Sands in Brewster, Wash.
In the final match, Charles Birnbach and Vamshidhar Reddy, both from Seattle, secured a 5&4 victory over Dan Fabela and Tim Rowe, both from Seattle. Birnbach and Reddy represented the Fred Couples region, while Fabela and Rowe emerged from the Andrew Putnam region.
Birnbach and Reddy are friends and met each other at an annual golf outing at Bandon Dunes. Birnbach plays out of Sand Point Country Club and Reddy plays out of Aldarra Golf Club. The pair finished the event with a flawless 9-0 record, including their pod play matches.
