Challenging conditions on the links-style course kept matches close Friday, which included winds reaching an average of about 33 miles per hour.
The teams of Randklev/Dickerson and Dan/Adam Kleckner prevailed during 18-hole semifinal matches on Saturday. Returning on a brisk fall Sunday, the dueling players went back and forth, with neither team leading by more than two holes at any point.
Eventually, the Kleckner team emerged with a 1-up lead heading to the 18th tee. In playing the hole, both brothers carded birdies to clinch the match, 2-up.
Held annually, the WA Golf Men’s Net Four-Ball Match Play is open to all active WA Golf male members over 18 years of age with an established handicap. Click here to view the full event manual.
