Championship Details


Entry Fee: $200
Entry Includes: One hosted practice round, two rounds of competition, tee gift, range balls, lunch following second round play, crystal awards for top finishers and a merchandise payout.
Entry Deadline: August 5, 2025 at 12:00 p.m.
Eligibility: Entries are open to female amateur golfers who: (1) meet the below age requirements, (2) have an up-to-date USGA Handicap Index issued by a WA Golf member club not exceeding 40.4, and (3) are members in good standing of a WA Golf member club.
Age: Senior players must have reached their fiftieth birthday by August 19, 2025. Super Senior players must have reached their sixty-fifth birthday by August 19, 2025.
Field Limit: Field will be limited to the first 48 qualified Seniors and the first 24 qualified Super Seniors. Entries will be accepted according to the time of receipt of entry and entry fee in addition to exempt players.
WA Golf reserves the right to modify either field limit after the entry deadline to reach a full field of 72 players.
Schedule: 36-hole stroke play (gross and net). In the event of a tie, the winner will be decided immediately by a hole-by-hole playoff.
Practice Round: All players will be allowed one complimentary practice round prior to the championship. Players may not schedule a complimentary practice round until entries have closed and the field is set.
Caddies: A player may provide her own caddie. Host club caddies will not be available.
Carts: Players or caddies may ride in a golf cart. Cart fees are $18 per player, per day. Fees will be collected during registration. (NOTE: The WA Golf “One Seat” Cart Policy is in effect at all WA Golf Championships. The full policy is available online HERE.)
Exempt Players (Senior): All past Washington Senior Women’s Amateur Champions in addition to the following players: Karen Johnson, Denise Kiefer, Gretchen Klein, Tomoko Ratzlaff, Kim Titus.
Exempt Players (Super Senior): All past Washington Super Senior Women’s Amateur Champions in addition to the following players: LoriAnne Johns, Gretchen Klein, Kathleen Landino, Jeanne Link.
WA Golf Performance Points (Senior Championship): Awarded to Champion (35), Runner-up (20), and Top-5 (5) finishers
Exemptions: Champion earns an exemption into the following events:
- Lifetime exemption into the Washington Senior Women’s Amateur Championship
- 2026 Washington Senior Women’s Champion of Champions
- 2026 Pacific Northwest Senior Women’s Amateur Championship
Women’s Referral Program: Anyone who played in a WA Golf Women’s Championship in 2023 or 2024 is eligible to receive a $25 rebate by inviting a new player. New players (must not have played in the WA Golf Championship they are registering for in 2023 or 2024) who register will also receive the $25 rebate. New players should indicate the player that referred them during the online registration process. Rebates are limited to one per person, per championship.
All rebates will be issued in the form of a $25 merchandise certificate redeemable in the host club golf shop. Rebates will be distributed during player registration at each championship.
