We are pleased to welcome two new staff members to our team at Washington Golf! Please join us in welcoming Joe Hayford and Oliver McKenna.
Joe joins the championship department as a manager of rules & competition, while Oliver joins the communications & marketing department as a multimedia content creator.
Get to know a little about Joe:
Joe Hayford, a native of Spokane and a graduate of Seattle University, has been passionate about golf since childhood. He expressed his excitement about joining the WA Golf championship team and making an impact on the championships he has played in the past. Joe’s hobbies outside of work include hiking, wake surfing, and traveling. His dream foursome would include his father, Tiger Woods, Max Homa, and himself.
Get to know a little about Oliver:
Oliver McKenna, born in Bellevue and raised in Spokane, recently graduated from Washington State University with a degree in strategic communication. While in school, he discovered his passion for content creation and sports through the student newspaper, The Daily Evergreen. Oliver's interest in golf was sparked through his family, and he is thrilled to be part of an organization that spreads the joy of the game. His hobbies include photography and bouldering, where he hopes to overcome his fear of heights and falling.
