Championship Links:

Titus began the second round three shots off the lead. Playing in the penultimate group, she bogeyed the 18th, but still posted the clubhouse lead at 13-over. In the final group, Gretchen Klein and Leslie Folsom were tied with Titus at that number, but both those players bogeyed the final hole, leaving Titus with a one-stroke advantage when scores were final.

The result marks Titus’ first individual WA Golf Title, but she had previously recorded eight wins in team championships, most recently doing so at the 2024 Washington Women’s Four-Ball alongside Kelly Gardner.

Lisa Chon

Lisa Chon of Sequim, Wash. secured the Senior Net title by carding net rounds of 70-72.

In the Super Senior, Johns entered the day with a two-shot lead. Playing steadily through the second round, her eventual 83 was enough to increase her lead to three, and win over runners-up Kristy Whitcher and Kris Adams. Johns’ result marks her first title in a WA Golf championship.

Linda Hash

Linda Hash shot net rounds of 74-68 to win the Super Senior Net title. Hash won the championship’s 2024 gross title.

For both championships, entries were open to women golfers who have an up-to-date USGA Handicap Index issued by a WA Golf member club not exceeding 40.4 and are members in good standing of a WA Golf member club. By Aug. 19, 2025, senior players must have reached their 50th birthday, and super senior players must have reached their 65th.

The Washington Senior and Super Senior Women’s Amateur Championships are two of 14 championships held annually by WA Golf.
